Dr. Christopher K. Mocek, MD

Dr. Mocek provides his patients with life-changing pain relief using the latest non-surgical procedures, medications, and implanted devices. The Mocek Spine Clinic is the only medical practice devoted solely to spine care and cancer-related pain in Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, Dr. Mocek has conducted advanced research in interventional pain management for the spine leading to multiple publications. Dr. Mocek is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, The American Board of Pain Medicine, and The American Board of Minimally Invasive Spine Medicine.

With medical excellence, Dr. Mocek desires to serve patients who suffer from chronic spine and cancer-related pain through compassionate care and medical excellence. Dr. Mocek graduated Summa Cum Laude from Adams State College in Colorado and earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He spent his intern year in family practice and his residency in anesthesiology at LSU Medical Center. Dr. Mocek completed his critical care and anesthesia fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital.

Sandee Sealy, APRN

Ms. Sealy has been practicing nursing for over 29 years. She has worked in medical-surgical, cardiac, critical care and management. In 2008, Sandee graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. While working in the academic setting, she received the “Best Clinical Instructor” award and the “Most Supportive Faculty” award. Sandee enjoys presenting at continuing education conferences, sharing information with colleagues, and inspiring and mentoring nursing students. In addition, she has worked in endocrinology and pain management. She has practiced as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at the Mocek Spine Clinic since 2010. In addition, Sandee has served on the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is the proud mother of Allisan, Allysa, D’Allan, and Alston. Her future aspirations include pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice, having an independent practice, and becoming published.

R. Forrest Galloway, APRN

Mr. Galloway, a native Arkansan, received his bachelor’s in microbiology from the University of Arkansas. He then attended nursing school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to obtain his nursing degree. For nine years, he worked in the Neonatal ICU at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. During this time, Forrest returned to graduate school at UAMS, where he received his Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He has been practicing as an APRN at Mocek Spine for over 9  years. Forrest is a proud husband and father of three boys. 

Dana Houston, APRN

Mrs. Houston graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2013. She is a part of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society and the Golden Key National Academic Honor Society. In addition, Dana was the recipient of the Linda Owen Rimer Award for her merit and clear demonstration of positive clinical performance during school. She continued her education by obtaining a Master’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2017 while working as a registered nurse in cardiac surgery. Dana received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Missouri State University in 2019 and passed the national exam to become board certified in pain management in 2022. Mrs. Houston enjoys living an active lifestyle with her husband, Jason, and two daughters, including cruising, snorkeling, skydiving, and various outdoor activities.

Clay Simon, APRN

Mr. Simon brings a deep commitment to patient care and clinical excellence to his role as a Nurse Practitioner here at Mocek Spine. He worked in an Emergency Room for eight years before transitioning into chronic pain management. Prior to a career in medicine, he spent 7 years in the military, first as an infantry Marine, then as a medic in the National Guard. Clay began his nursing journey by earning an Associate of Nursing from Baptist Health Schools of Little Rock, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and later earned a Post-Master’s Certificate in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care. Balancing a demanding career and a vibrant family life, Clay is also a proud father to five children—Kameron, Jenna, Gipson, Sadie, and Sophie—whose support fuels his passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care across all stages of life.
